Mineral scale buildup in nozzle, Nozzle orifice worn oversized, Contaminated solution causing deposits, Damaged nozzle gasket or O-ring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and depressurise the system by squeezing the trigger.
- Remove nozzle: Unscrew or unclip the spray nozzle from the wand or floor tool.
- Descale: Soak the nozzle in a descaling solution compatible with brass/plastic (check Numatic guidance) to dissolve mineral deposits.
- Inspect orifice: Hold the nozzle up to the light. If the opening is irregular or enlarged, replace the nozzle.
- Check seals: Inspect any O-rings or gaskets for cracks or flattening. Replace if damaged.
- Flush system: Before refitting, run clean water through the solution system to remove loose debris.
