Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting mechanical joints.

• Step 1 – Clean joints: Remove debris from the locking buttons and sockets on the tube, handheld, and floorhead.
• Step 2 – Inspect for wear: Check for rounded or broken locking tabs and cracks in the tube collar.
• Step 3 – Test engagement: Reconnect the tube and ensure it clicks firmly. If it still wobbles, identify which side (top or bottom) has the most play.
• Step 4 – Replace worn part: Replace the extension tube or floorhead/handheld connector that is worn.
