How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the vacuum, remove the battery, and allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes before further inspection.
- 1. Let the unit cool: Place the vacuum in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Do not attempt to restart repeatedly while hot.
- 2. Check for blockages: Detach the wand and nozzle. Inspect the wand, dust bin inlet, and nozzle neck for clogs. Remove any debris.
- 3. Clean all filters: Remove the pre-filter and HEPA filter. Tap out dust and, if allowed by the manual, rinse with water and dry completely. Replace filters that are more than 12–18 months old or visibly damaged.
- 4. Use on lower power: After reassembly, test the vacuum on Normal mode instead of Turbo. If it runs significantly longer without overheating, the motor may be aging and drawing more current at high speed.
- 5. If E05 appears quickly even with clean filters and no clogs, the main motor or temperature sensor is likely defective. Continued use may cause permanent damage; contact LG service for motor or main body replacement.
