Possible Causes
Firmware issue in control PCB, Base sensor misreading low temperatures, Residual high heat from previous cooking mode, Thick starchy food left for too long
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Stir and check food temperature before serving, especially for children or elderly.
- Limit warm time: Avoid leaving food on KEEP WARM for many hours, particularly rice and thick dishes.
- Add a little liquid: Before KEEP WARM, add a small amount of water or sauce and stir to reduce sticking.
- Use lower setting (if available): Some models allow adjusting keep-warm temperature; choose a lower level.
If food burns quickly even with short keep-warm times, the control board or sensor may be faulty and should be inspected.
