Possible Causes
Faulty temperature sensor calibration, Firmware issue, Poor thermal contact between pot and sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before internal checks.
- Check pot contact: Ensure the inner pot is not warped and sits flat on the heating plate.
- Stir and add liquid: When using Keep Warm, stir occasionally and ensure there is enough liquid to prevent drying.
- Test temperature: With water in the pot, run Keep Warm and measure the water temperature with a kitchen thermometer. If it is significantly above typical holding temperatures (around 60–75°C / 140–167°F), the sensor or control board may be faulty.
- Service needed: Replace the bottom temperature sensor or main control board if Keep Warm runs excessively hot.
Warning: Overly hot Keep Warm can be a safety issue and may indicate failing controls.
