Possible Causes
Faulty NTC temperature sensor reading too low, Poor thermal contact causing sensor lag, Control PCB calibration error, Warped inner pot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Avoid leaving the cooker unattended if it is prone to burning food.
- Stir and deglaze: For sautéing, stir frequently and add a small amount of liquid to prevent sticking before switching to pressure mode.
- Check inner pot: Inspect for warping or hot spots. Replace if the bottom is not flat.
- Clean sensor area: Remove burnt-on residue from the heater plate and central sensor button to ensure accurate temperature sensing.
- Water test: Cook only water on a low-heat program and monitor if it boils too vigorously. If so, the sensor or PCB may be faulty.
- Component replacement: Replace the bottom NTC sensor first. If the issue persists, replace the control PCB.
