Possible Causes

Incorrect temperature calibration on main PCB, Faulty NTC sensor reading lower than actual temperature, Poor heat dissipation due to blocked vents, Inner pot left nearly empty on warm

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Avoid leaving the cooker unattended on Keep Warm for extended periods until the issue is resolved.

  • Use adequate volume: Do not use Keep Warm with very small amounts of food; this can cause localized overheating.
  • Stir and add liquid: For thick dishes, stir before switching to Keep Warm and add a small amount of liquid to prevent sticking.
  • Check vents: Ensure side and bottom vents are not blocked, allowing normal cooling.
  • Test temperature: With water in the pot, run Keep Warm and measure water temperature after 30–60 minutes. If it is significantly above typical holding temperatures (around 60–75°C), the sensor or control board may be faulty.

Persistent overheating on Keep Warm usually requires sensor or PCB replacement to correct calibration.
