How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Perform burn-in outdoors with good ventilation and no food in the grill.
- Step 1 – Remove all packaging: Ensure all plastic, cardboard, and zip ties are removed from inside the grill and hopper.
- Step 2 – Clean surfaces: Wipe grates and interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then rinse and dry.
- Step 3 – Perform burn-in: Run the grill at 350–400°F for 30–60 minutes with no food to burn off oils and residues.
- Step 4 – Ventilate: Allow smoke and odors to dissipate fully before cooking.
