Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power to both the Aquaflow pump and the automation controller before working on low-voltage wiring.
- Verify wiring: Check that the RS-485 A/B (or +/–) wires from the automation system are connected to the matching terminals on the Aquaflow control board. Correct any reversals.
- Inspect cable: Look for cuts, kinks, or water damage along the communication cable. Replace if damaged.
- Check termination: Ensure that termination resistors are installed only where required by the system design.
- Confirm settings: In the Aquaflow menu (if accessible), verify that the communication address and protocol match the automation controller's configuration.
After correcting wiring and settings, restore power and clear E11. If the error persists, the communication interface on the control board may be faulty.
