How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the pump. Release pressure by opening the air relief valve before loosening any clamps.
- Tighten clamp: Check and evenly tighten the clamp or collar securing the multiport valve to the tank.
- Inspect O-ring: Remove the valve and inspect the large tank O-ring. Replace with a new multiport valve O-ring if flattened or cracked.
- Check for cracks: Inspect the valve body and tank neck for cracks. Replace the multiport valve assembly or tank if damaged.
- Monitor pressure: Ensure filter pressure is within the recommended range; backwash if high.
