Possible Causes
Charging contacts dirty or corroded, Docking station misaligned or not level, Guide wire signal weak or missing, Front bumper or docking sensors misaligned
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before cleaning contacts.
- Clean charging contacts: Use a dry cloth or fine abrasive pad to clean the metal contacts on both the mower and the station. Remove oxidation and grass sap.
- Check station placement: Ensure the station is on a flat, level surface with the required clearance in front and sides as specified by Ecovacs.
- Verify guide/boundary wire routing: The wire should run straight into the front of the station for at least 1–2 meters. Avoid sharp bends or crossings near the dock.
- Inspect front bumper and sensors: Make sure the front bumper moves freely and returns when pressed. Remove any debris blocking infrared or ultrasonic docking sensors (if equipped).
- Test docking: Plug the station back in, power ON the mower, and send it to charge via the app or control panel. Observe its approach and adjust station position if it consistently misses the contacts.
If E07 continues despite clean contacts and correct placement, the docking sensor module or charging station electronics may need replacement.
