Possible Causes
Boundary wire laid incorrectly, Charging station not at correct position on loop, Broken guide wire (if equipped), Strong external electromagnetic interference
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charging station power before adjusting the boundary wire.
- Verify loop layout: Compare your boundary wire installation with the LandXcape layout diagram. Ensure the wire forms a complete loop and both ends are connected to the base terminals.
- Check base position: The charging station must be placed inside the loop with sufficient straight wire in front. Reposition if it is too close to corners or outside the loop.
- Measure loop resistance: Use a multimeter to measure resistance between the two wire ends at the base (with power disconnected). A very high or infinite reading indicates a break in the loop.
- Repair breaks: Locate and repair any breaks using LandXcape waterproof splice connectors. Avoid twisting wires together without proper connectors.
- Reduce interference: Keep the boundary wire away from buried power cables, metal grids, and other robotic mower wires. If interference is suspected, reroute the wire.
- Guide wire (if present): If your model uses a guide wire, ensure it is correctly connected and not broken, as some models use it to verify loop presence.
