Possible Causes

Boundary wire too close to metal fencing, Nearby buried cables causing interference, Incorrect boundary wire layout, Faulty perimeter signal modulation on base PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the charging station before modifying the boundary wire. Turn OFF the mower while adjusting layout.

  • Review layout: Ensure the boundary wire is installed according to LawnMaster guidelines, with proper distances from metal fences, driveways with rebar, and other loops.
  • Separate from other cables: Keep the boundary wire at least 30 cm away from mains cables, irrigation wires, or other signal wires to reduce interference.
  • Check for loops and crossings: Avoid unnecessary loops or crossings of the boundary wire, which can distort the signal.
  • Inspect base location: Place the charging station away from large metal objects and strong radio sources.

If E12 persists after correcting the layout and separation, the perimeter signal generator on the charging station PCB may be faulty and the base may need replacement.
