Possible Causes
Boundary wire buried too deep, Weak boundary signal due to long loop length, Interference from underground cables, Faulty boundary sensor coil in mower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect power to the charging station before adjusting the boundary wire.
- Check wire depth: Ensure the NAC boundary wire is no deeper than the recommended depth (usually surface‑laid or shallowly buried). Raise it closer to the surface if necessary.
- Shorten loop if possible: Avoid unnecessary detours in the boundary layout that increase total wire length and reduce signal strength.
- Separate from other cables: Keep the boundary wire at least 30 cm away from mains or communication cables.
- Test mower sensor: Place the mower directly over the boundary and observe if it reacts consistently. If not, the internal boundary sensor coil or associated electronics may need replacement.
Warning: Do not twist or bundle boundary wire with other cables; this can severely distort the signal.
