Possible Causes
Boundary wire layout too tight or with sharp angles, Narrow corridor below minimum width, Software limitation in Parkside navigation algorithm, Interference from metal objects near wire
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before modifying the boundary wire.
- Review layout: Compare your boundary wire installation with the Parkside manual. Ensure minimum distances from obstacles and that narrow passages meet the recommended width.
- Smooth corners: Replace sharp 90° turns in the wire with smooth curves to help the mower navigate.
- Remove metal interference: Move metal grates, edging, or buried cables away from the boundary wire path if possible.
- Adjust passage: Widen narrow corridors or create a separate mowing zone if the passage is too tight for reliable navigation.
- Update firmware: If your model supports firmware updates via USB or service, ensure it is running the latest version.
Note: This is usually a layout/installation issue rather than a hardware failure.
