Possible Causes
Boundary wire buried too deep or too shallow, Strong electromagnetic interference from nearby power cables, Metal reinforcement near lawn edges, Weak boundary transmitter signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station before modifying the boundary wire.
- Check wire depth: Ensure the boundary wire is laid at the depth recommended by Parkside (usually on the surface or shallowly pegged, not deeply buried).
- Move away from interference: If the wire runs parallel to mains cables, metal fences, or steel edging, move it further away if possible.
- Check base output: Verify the base LED indicates a strong loop signal. If weak, the transmitter board may be failing.
- Reduce loops and spurs: Avoid unnecessary loops or long spurs of wire that can confuse the mower.
When to replace: Replace the charging station boundary transmitter if the signal is weak despite a good wire layout.
