Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the main power and keep the mower upright when inspecting. Avoid working on steep slopes.
Steps to check:
- Check slope: Verify that the area where E2 occurs is within the Worx Landroid's maximum slope rating (typically around 20–35% depending on model). Move the charging base if it is on a slope.
- Remove hang‑ups: Inspect for roots, edging stones, or holes that cause one wheel to drop or lift. Fill holes and smooth transitions around patios and paths.
- Clean undercarriage: Turn the mower on its side (power OFF) and remove built‑up grass around wheels and chassis that could cause uneven support.
- Inspect tilt sensor connection: Open the top cover and locate the tilt sensor module (often a small board or sensor fixed to the chassis). Ensure its connector to the main PCB is firmly seated.
- Reset: Reassemble, place the mower on flat ground, power ON, and start a test run. Observe if E2 reappears only on certain slopes.
When to call a technician: Persistent E2 on level ground suggests a faulty tilt sensor or main board that should be replaced by a service center.
