Possible Causes
Internal gyroscope calibration lost, Strong magnetic or impact event, Loose gyroscope connector on main board, Failed IMU (inertial measurement unit) chip
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Place the robot on a flat, level surface and ensure it is powered but not cleaning.
Steps:
- Power cycle: Turn the main power switch OFF (if present) for 60 seconds, then ON again.
- Perform calibration (if supported): In the Bagotte app, look for a Sensor Calibration or Reset Mapping option and follow on-screen instructions while the robot is on a level floor.
- Avoid magnetic interference: Move the robot away from large speakers, metal furniture bases, or other strong magnetic sources.
- Test movement: Start a cleaning cycle in an open area and observe if the robot still spins in place or veers sharply.
- If E9 persists: The gyroscope/IMU circuit on the main control board is likely faulty. Replace the main control board (motherboard) or seek professional service.
