Possible Causes
Damaged accelerometer on PCB, Shock from being dropped, Loose internal connector, Firmware calibration error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not operate a robot that has suffered a significant fall until inspected.
- Power reset: Turn the robot OFF for 2 minutes, then back ON on a flat, level surface.
- Visual inspection: Check the housing for cracks or signs of impact. If the casing is damaged, internal components may also be compromised.
- Test basic movement: Start a short clean in an open area. If F14 appears immediately, the internal sensor is likely damaged.
Internal accelerometer replacement requires main board service; contact Dyson support.
