How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work required for basic troubleshooting.

  • 1. Reposition dock:
    • Place the dock in an open area with clear space around it.
  • 2. Clean IR windows:
    • Wipe the dock and robot front sensor windows with a dry cloth.
  • 3. Reset map (for mapping models):
    • Use the Kyvol app to delete the existing map and let the robot remap the home.
  • 4. Test return-to-dock:
    • Start the robot near the dock and press the Home button to see if it can locate the base.
  • 5. If it still fails consistently:
    • The IR receiver or navigation module may be weak; professional diagnosis and possible sensor replacement are needed.
