Possible Causes
Internal gyroscope drift, Shock damage to IMU, Firmware corruption, Loose IMU connector on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the robot on a flat, stable surface before performing any calibration.
- 1. Reboot the robot: Hold the power button for 10–15 seconds to fully power cycle the unit. Turn it back on and allow it to boot completely.
- 2. Perform sensor calibration (if available): Using the LG app or onboard menu, navigate to settings and look for a "Sensor Calibration" or "Reset Sensors" option. Follow on-screen instructions, keeping the robot stationary on a level floor.
- 3. Avoid magnetic interference: Move the robot away from large metal objects, speakers, or strong magnets that can affect orientation sensors.
- 4. Firmware update: Connect the robot to Wi‑Fi and check for firmware updates via the LG app. Install any available updates and reboot.
- If calibration and firmware updates do not clear the error, the internal IMU module or main PCB may be defective and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
