Possible Causes

Dock placed in tight corner, Reflective or dark flooring confusing sensors, IR dock beacon obstructed, Navigation sensor dirty

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the dock is on a flat, hard surface.

  • Step 1 – Reposition dock: Place the dock against a straight wall with at least 1 meter of clearance on each side and 2 meters in front.
  • Step 2 – Clean dock and robot sensors: Wipe the IR windows on the dock and the front of the robot.
  • Step 3 – Avoid tight spaces: Do not place the dock behind furniture or in narrow alcoves.
  • Step 4 – Test homing: Start the robot near the dock and press Home. Observe its ability to locate and dock.
