Possible Causes

Dirty front IR obstacle sensors, Disconnected front sensor harness, Failed front sensor module, Main PCB sensor input fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power off the robot before cleaning sensors.

  • Clean front sensors: Locate the front IR/optical sensors on the bumper or front panel. Wipe them gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. If there is sticky residue, lightly dampen the cloth with water and dry immediately.
  • Check bumper movement: Press the front bumper in and release. It should move freely and click. Remove any debris wedged between the bumper and the body.
  • Restart and test: Power the robot back on and run a test cleaning in an open area. Observe whether it now avoids obstacles more normally.
  • If C03 persists: The front sensor module or its wiring may be faulty. Internal disassembly is required to access the sensor harness and module; this should be done by a qualified technician to avoid damaging the housing or voiding warranty.
