Possible Causes

Robot started on uneven surface, Internal gyroscope miscalibrated, Strong magnetic interference, Faulty IMU module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Place the robot on a flat, level floor away from metal objects and speakers.

  • Power cycle: Turn the main power switch OFF for 60 seconds, then ON again. Ensure the robot remains still during startup.
  • Perform calibration (if supported): In the Ultenic app, look for a sensor calibration or reset mapping option and follow on-screen instructions with the robot on a level surface.
  • Avoid interference: Move the robot away from large metal furniture, Wi‑Fi routers, and strong magnets during calibration.
  • Test navigation: Start a short cleaning run in an open area and observe if the robot drives straight.
  • If E7 persists: The IMU/gyroscope board on the main PCB may be defective. This typically requires main board replacement and should be done by an authorized technician.
