Possible Causes
Robot started on uneven surface, Internal IMU (inertial measurement unit) miscalibrated, Strong magnetic or vibration interference, IMU connector loose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the robot on a stable, level surface.
- 1. Power cycle: Turn the robot OFF using the main switch, wait 30 seconds, then turn it ON while it is on a flat floor.
- 2. Perform calibration (if supported): In the Yeedi app, look for a sensor or navigation calibration option and follow the on-screen instructions with the robot stationary.
- 3. Avoid interference: Keep the robot away from large speakers, subwoofers, or strong magnets during calibration.
- 4. Internal check (advanced): Open the robot and locate the IMU board (often a small daughterboard). Ensure its connector to the main PCB is secure.
- 5. Replace IMU board: If E11 persists and the robot cannot navigate straight, the IMU/gyro board may need replacement.
Warning: Do not drop or strike the robot; shocks can permanently damage the IMU.
