Possible Causes

Corrupted schedule data after firmware update, Overlapping time periods, Conflicting app and thermostat schedules

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: This is a configuration issue, not a hardware failure.

  • Disable schedule temporarily: Set the thermostat to Hold or Manual mode to stabilize temperature control.
  • Clear and recreate schedule: In the Honeywell Home app or on the thermostat, delete all existing schedule periods and recreate them carefully, ensuring no overlaps.
  • Sync app and thermostat: Make sure only one device (app or thermostat) is used to edit the schedule at a time. Allow time for cloud synchronization.
  • Factory reset (if needed): If schedule issues persist, perform a factory reset and set up the thermostat again, including Wi‑Fi and schedules.
