  • 1. Run a cold wash: Select a cold-only cycle. If the washer completes without F23, the issue is likely in the heating/NTC circuit.
  • 2. Access NTC and heater: Remove the rear panel. Locate the heater and NTC sensor at the bottom of the tub.
  • 3. Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the NTC and heater to the control for damage or loose connections. Reseat all plugs.
  • 4. Test NTC: Disconnect the NTC and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare to the spec in the tech sheet. Replace if open, shorted, or far out of range.
  • 5. Test heater: Measure resistance across heater terminals and to ground as described for F07. Replace if open or grounded.
