How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Inverter modules carry high DC voltage. Do not touch heatsinks or power components with power connected.
- Power reset: Turn off power for 15–20 minutes to allow the inverter to discharge. Restore power and test.
- Check outdoor PCB cooling: Ensure the inverter heatsink is not clogged with dust and that any cooling fan (if fitted) operates.
- Visual inspection: Look for burnt marks or cracked components on the inverter PCB.
- Do not attempt component-level repair: Replace the complete AEG outdoor inverter PCB if diagnosed faulty by a technician.
- If H5 persists: A professional must test compressor windings and DC bus conditions.
