Possible Causes
Internal condensate tank full, Blocked internal drain, Faulty tank float switch, Unit not level causing poor drainage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the portable unit before draining water.
- Drain the tank: Move the unit to a location where water spillage is acceptable. Remove the lower drain plug or tank and empty all water.
- Clean tank and float: Rinse the tank and clean any slime or debris. Ensure the float moves freely.
- Check level: Place the unit on a flat, level surface so water flows correctly to the tank.
- Optional continuous drain: If supported, connect a drain hose to the continuous drain outlet and route it to a floor drain.
- If P2 remains after emptying: The float switch or level sensor may be faulty and should be replaced with a compatible AEG condensate level switch.
