Possible Causes
Room sensor located in wrong airflow, Sensor not clipped correctly, Remote control sensor (I FEEL) not used correctly, Drafts affecting sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before adjusting internal sensors.
- Check sensor position: Ensure the room temperature sensor is in the return air stream and not touching the coil or casing.
- Avoid drafts: Do not direct strong airflow from other fans or vents at the indoor unit.
- Use I FEEL (if available): Some AEG remotes have an I FEEL function that uses the remote's sensor. Keep the remote near the occupied area.
- Reattach sensor: If the sensor has fallen out of its clip, reinsert it and secure firmly.
- If control remains poor: Replace the room sensor or have the PCB calibrated/replaced.
