Indoor unit makes loud rattling or buzzing noises during operation

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before touching moving parts.

• Check panels: Ensure the front cover is fully closed and latched. Tighten any visible screws on the casing.
• Inspect filters: Make sure filters are properly seated and not vibrating against the casing.
• Look for foreign objects: Shine a light into the air outlet and fan area to check for plastic pieces, insects, or other debris. Remove carefully.
• Check wall bracket: For wall-mounted units, gently push the unit to see if it rocks. Tighten wall bracket screws if loose.
• If noise persists: The fan motor or wheel may be out of balance or worn and should be replaced.
