Arctic King
Room Temperature Sensing Error
Display works but shows incorrect room temperature (much higher or lower than actual), causing poor temperature control.

Possible Causes
Room sensor located near heat source or cold air outlet, Faulty room thermistor, Poor sensor mounting, Control board calibration error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before moving or replacing sensors.
Steps to correct temperature reading:
- Check sensor location: Ensure the room sensor is not touching the evaporator coil or positioned directly in the cold air stream. Reposition it to sense return room air.
- Inspect sensor: Look for damage to the thermistor or its wires. Replace the room temperature sensor if damaged.
- Compare with thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer near the unit's intake and compare readings. If the AC reading is consistently off by a large margin with a new sensor, the main control board may be miscalibrated and require replacement.
