Possible Causes
Defective room thermistor, Loose sensor connector, Damaged sensor wiring, Faulty main PCB input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the front panel.
Steps to fix F1:
- Locate room sensor: Behind the front grille near the air intake, find the small thermistor probe.
- Inspect and reseat: Ensure the sensor is not broken or dislodged. Follow its wires to the control board and reseat the connector.
- Test resistance: With a multimeter, measure resistance at room temperature. Replace the room temperature sensor if readings are open, shorted, or far from expected values.
- Board check: If a new sensor does not clear F1, the main PCB may be defective and should be replaced.
