• Fan setting: Use a continuous fan setting (if available) to mix room air and reduce localized cold spots.
• Sensor replacement: If the unit still short cycles, replace the room temperature sensor. A sensor reading too cold will shut the compressor off prematurely.
• Room sizing: If the unit is significantly oversized for the room, consider using a lower fan speed or a smaller capacity unit to avoid short cycling.
