• Control board location: Some boards overheat if covered in dust. Gently clean dust from the control box and ensure vents are not blocked.
• Persistent issue: If the unit still overheats and shuts down, a technician should check compressor current draw and internal thermal protectors. Replacement of the compressor or main control board may be required.
