- Step 2 – Check wiring tightness: Verify that all screw terminals to the compressor and power input are tight and free of corrosion.
- Step 3 – Power quality: Ensure the supply voltage is stable and within the range specified on the Ariston nameplate. For three-phase units, confirm no phase is missing (requires a multimeter and electrical knowledge).
- Step 4 – Reset: After inspection, leave power off for 10 minutes to allow the inverter to discharge, then restore power and test. If E08 returns immediately, do not keep retrying.
- Technician tasks: A technician should measure compressor winding resistance, insulation resistance, and test the inverter module. Replacement of the outdoor inverter PCB or compressor may be required.
