Possible Causes
Faulty Wi-Fi module, Loose communication cable between Wi-Fi module and PCB, Incompatible or outdated firmware, Damaged indoor PCB communication port
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before handling internal modules.
- Step 1 – Reset Wi-Fi module: Follow the Ariston manual to perform a Wi-Fi reset (usually holding a specific button on the unit or remote). Try reconnecting to your network.
- Step 2 – Check signal strength: Ensure the router is within range and not heavily obstructed. Move the router closer if possible.
- Step 3 – Inspect module connection: Open the indoor cover and locate the Wi-Fi module (often a small board or dongle). Ensure its cable is firmly connected to the indoor PCB.
- Step 4 – Firmware update: Use the Ariston app or service tools (if available) to check for firmware updates.
- Step 5 – Replace module: If E20 persists, replace the Wi-Fi module with an Ariston-approved replacement. If still unresolved, the indoor PCB may be defective.
