Keypad / Control Panel Failure
Indoor unit displays lights but does not respond to any buttons on the panel

Possible Causes
Faulty touchpad or button PCB, Disconnected keypad ribbon cable, Stuck button causing lockout, Faulty indoor main PCB input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Steps:
- 1. Remote test: Try operating the unit with the remote control. If it works, the keypad is faulty.
- 2. Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes to clear any control lockup.
- 3. Inspect keypad cable: Remove the front panel and check the ribbon cable from the keypad to the main PCB. Reseat it.
- 4. Replace keypad PCB: If still unresponsive, replace the keypad/display PCB with a Baxi part.
