Remote control does not operate the Baxi air conditioner; unit can still be controlled from panel (if available)

Steps:

• 1. Replace batteries: Install fresh, correctly oriented batteries in the remote.
• 2. Test remote: Point the remote at a smartphone camera and press buttons; you should see a flashing light on the screen if it is transmitting.
• 3. Clear line of sight: Ensure nothing blocks the IR receiver window on the indoor unit.
• 4. Receiver board: If the remote is transmitting but the unit does not respond, the IR receiver/display PCB may be faulty and should be replaced.
