Possible Causes
Burned-out indoor fan motor, Faulty fan capacitor (on non-DC models), Loose fan motor connector on indoor PCB, Jammed fan drum
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing the fan or motor.
- 1. Check for obstructions: Remove filters and inspect the fan drum for foreign objects or ice.
- 2. Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If it is stiff, the motor may be seized.
- 3. Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan motor connector is firmly plugged into the indoor PCB.
- 4. Capacitor (if applicable): On some older Beko models, a separate capacitor is used. A bulging or leaking capacitor should be replaced with the same rating.
- 5. Replace motor: If the motor does not run even with correct voltage and a good capacitor, replace the indoor fan motor assembly.
