How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before touching the unit or fan.
- 1. Check mounting: Gently push on the indoor unit. If it rocks or rattles, tighten the mounting plate screws and wall anchors.
- 2. Inspect fan area: Remove filters and look for plastic, paper, or other objects caught in the fan. Remove carefully.
- 3. Clean fan drum: If the fan is heavily coated with dust, clean it with a soft brush and vacuum while rotating by hand.
