Remote control does not operate the Beko air conditioner

• 2. Check IR transmission: Point the remote at a smartphone camera and press a button; you should see a flashing light on the remote's IR LED through the camera.
• 3. Clear line of sight: Ensure nothing blocks the IR receiver window on the indoor unit.
• 4. Try manual controls: Use any buttons on the indoor unit (if present) to confirm the unit itself works.
• 5. If remote works but unit does not respond: The indoor IR receiver board may be faulty and require replacement.
