Possible Causes
Clogged condensate drain hose, Algae or sludge buildup in drain pan, Improper slope of drain line, Cracked or disconnected drain hose on Beko indoor unit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and place towels or a container under the unit to catch water.
- 1. Remove filters and inspect pan: Look for standing water in the drain pan under the evaporator coil.
- 2. Clear drain line: Locate the drain hose outlet outside. Use a wet/dry vacuum to suck out clogs, or gently blow through the hose from the indoor side.
- 3. Check hose slope: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward with no upward loops.
- 4. Clean pan: Wipe out slime and debris from the drain pan. A mild bleach solution can help prevent algae.
- 5. Inspect hose connection: Confirm the hose is firmly attached to the indoor drain spigot and not cracked. Replace if damaged.
