Possible Causes
Internal condensate tank full, Blocked internal drain path, Faulty water level float switch, Unit not properly drained in continuous drain mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the portable AC before draining.
Steps:
- Empty tank: Carefully move the unit to a drain area, remove the drain plug, and empty the internal tank into a suitable container.
- Check continuous drain: If using a hose, ensure it slopes downward with no kinks and is not blocked.
- Clean float switch: Access the internal tank (per Blaupunkt manual) and clean any slime or debris around the float. Ensure it moves freely.
- Test switch: If P2 remains even when empty, the float switch may be stuck or faulty and should be replaced.
