Possible Causes
Failed indoor fan motor, Faulty fan capacitor (on AC motors), Obstructed blower wheel, Faulty indoor PCB fan relay or driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before opening the indoor unit.
Steps:
- Check for obstructions: Remove front panel and filters; ensure nothing is blocking the blower.
- Spin test: Try rotating the blower wheel by hand. If stiff, motor bearings may be seized.
- Capacitor (if fitted): On non-inverter Blaupunkt units, locate the fan capacitor and inspect for bulging or leakage. Replace with the same µF rating if faulty.
- Motor replacement: If the motor receives power but does not run, replace the Blaupunkt indoor fan motor.
