Indoor Unit Water Overflow / Drainage Fault
E9 error; water may drip from indoor unit or unit stops unexpectedly

Possible Causes
Blocked condensate drain pipe on Camry indoor unit, Clogged drain pan outlet, Improper drain pipe slope or kinks, Faulty float switch (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the unit and place a towel or tray under the indoor unit to catch any water.
- 1. Check drain pipe outlet: Locate the end of the condensate drain pipe outside. Ensure it is not blocked by dirt, algae, or insects. Clear any obstruction.
- 2. Flush the drain line: Use a wet/dry vacuum at the drain outlet to suck out sludge, or gently flush with water from the indoor side if accessible.
- 3. Inspect indoor drain pan: Remove the front cover and lower the bottom tray (on some Camry models) to access the drain pan. Clean out slime and debris.
- 4. Verify pipe slope: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward from the indoor unit to the outlet, with no upward loops or sags that can trap water.
- 5. Float switch check: If your Camry model has a float switch in the drain pan, verify that it moves freely and is not stuck in the raised (overflow) position.
Note: After clearing the drain, run the unit in COOL mode and confirm that water flows steadily from the drain outlet.
