Possible Causes
Supply voltage outside Camry specified range, Loose mains connections at indoor or outdoor terminal block, Undersized wiring causing voltage drop, Faulty voltage detection circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before tightening any terminals.
- 1. Measure supply voltage: Use a multimeter to check voltage at the main breaker and at the unit terminals under load.
- 2. Tighten terminals: Ensure all L and N (and Earth) connections are tight at both indoor and outdoor units.
- 3. Check cable size: Confirm that the supply cable gauge meets Camry’s installation requirements for the unit’s current draw and run length.
- 4. Consult electrician: If building supply is unstable, an electrician should correct the issue or install a stabilizer if appropriate.
- 5. PCB check: If voltage is stable but P1 persists, the voltage sensing circuit on the PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
