Carrier air conditioner indoor unit display is blank but unit still runs with remote

Safety: Turn OFF power before removing the front panel.

• Step 1 – Confirm operation: Use the remote to turn the unit ON/OFF and change modes. If the unit responds, only the display is affected.
• Step 2 – Check connections: Remove the front cover and inspect the ribbon cable or connector between the display board and main PCB. Reseat it.
• Step 3 – Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of water ingress on the display board.
• Step 4 – Replace display board: If still blank, replace the display PCB with a Carrier-compatible part.
