Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown indoor unit fuse on PCB, Faulty indoor power supply section on PCB, Loose live/neutral connections at indoor terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the main breaker before opening any covers.
- Step 1 – Check breaker and outlet: Reset the breaker and verify power at the outlet or indoor terminal block using a tester.
- Step 2 – Inspect indoor terminal block: Remove the front cover and check that all wires are firmly secured and not burnt.
- Step 3 – Check PCB fuse: On the indoor PCB, locate the glass or cartridge fuse. If blown, replace with the same rating. If it blows again, there is a deeper fault.
- Step 4 – PCB replacement: If power is present but the unit remains dead, the indoor main PCB power supply is likely faulty and should be replaced.
