Water leaking from Daikin indoor unit front panel or dripping onto the floor

Safety first: Turn off the unit and place towels or a container to catch water.

User steps:

• Remove the front panel and filters to inspect the drain pan for standing water and debris.
• Clean visible slime and dirt from the pan with a cloth and mild detergent.
• Use a wet/dry vacuum at the outdoor end of the drain hose to suck out blockages.
• Check that the indoor unit is slightly tilted toward the drain side; adjust mounting if obviously sloped the wrong way.

Technician tasks:

• Flush the drain line with water and disinfectant.
• Repair or replace cracked drain pans or hoses.
• Inspect and service any internal drain pump if fitted.
